I’m surprised I lived in Columbus for a full year without discovering this spot. The food is excellent and very reasonably priced, and the bartender, Shay, created a welcoming atmosphere. With happy hour running until 7 p.m., this is a standout destination.

Friendly people, good atmosphere, food is always good. This is my favorite place to go after work. I can eat here almost every day. Workers are excellent at what they do. The cooks are really great at getting your food, right I could go on and on about this place.

Fun local bar in downtown Columbus. Full menu, and voted (?) Best smash burger. Bean dip is definitely worth trying and the smash burger did not disappoint. I love the cigarette machine, payphone and photo booth flashback. Thank you Paulina and Abbey for the great service!

Absolutely delicious food, the cheese curds are amazing! And the daily double is the best burger deal in the city. The mixed drinks on the menu could use a revamp but overall this place is perfect when you can get a seat.

Chicken wings ARE THE BEST HERE, good flavors and crispy(not greasy)! Burgers, simple good burger with fries. Salad, good! Chips with house made sour cream, very good! The restaurant is kind of loud and that’s the vibes here, if you have sensitive ears then be aware.

Been going here for years. Still has the same charm and vibes as it did 15 years ago. Absolutely love 185. The food is excellent. The service is top notch. The vibe is cool. Dress up, wear sweatpants, nobody cares. Probably would not go here to watch a big game though. Not a sports bar.

Best burgers in the city! Get the 185 with cheese. Add sweet potato fries, and don’t skip the green beans. Love the old-school neighborhood charm.

Club 185 is one of those places that quietly earns your loyalty. From the laid-back vibe to the dependable food, this spot has made its way into my regular rotation. If you’re looking for a low-key neighborhood bar with high-key flavor, this is it. ⸻ 🍽️ What to Order • Beer Cheese Fries ($10.50 regular / $7.50 happy hour) → Fries loaded with pot roast, jalapeños, onion, and creamy, sharp cheese sauce. Comfort food stacked up like a meal. Worth planning your whole order around. • Sliders → Pot roast and meatloaf are my go-to. Rich, filling, and no unnecessary frills. Just good food that holds up every time. • Hot Dogs (Wednesday special – 2 for $7.50) → Basic if you leave them plain, but they’re made to be topped — chili, kraut, cheese, etc. Treat them like a build-your-own canvas. • Pizza → Underrated. Customize it however you want — I do pepperoni, sausage, and banana peppers. Crispy-edged, flavorful, and great with an Ace Pineapple cider (on tap for the non-beer drinkers). • Happy Hour (Mon–Fri, 4–7pm) → Small menu, all hits. Best burgers in Columbus? I don’t know, but very good. I got the “Daily Double,” which is two single cheeseburgers and fries for $12. This was an excellent deal. The service was fantastic. The ambience of the bar is unpretentious, historic and cute.
